Greenlee 3rd graders scored 55% proficiency on their TCAP Reading Test in February!! This means over half of our 3rd graders are on grade level and a great indicator for future success in high school and college.
This is an increase of 21% from last year’s score and we scored higher than 47 other schools in DPS!!

New Banners on Playground: Greenlee students, under the guidance of Mrs. Plate and assistance of AmeriCorps volunteers, painted new banners for the Learning Landscape poles on the playground. The 32 images support the theme of School Activities. Check them out.
Reading Rockets Visit on Wednesdays: Reading Rocket, an extension of the Denver Public Library, visits at the front of the school on Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Students may use their Denver Public Library Card or Reading Rocket Card to check out books and videos. Parents are also welcome to visit the van at this time. Students needing a library card should pick up an application from Ms. La France in the library.
Curtis Hotel Helps Greenlee: Representatives from the Curtis Hotel visited Greenlee Sept. 29 to receive a thank you from the whole student body. Curtis Hotel adopted Greenlee as its volunteer and assistance project. Workers painted the playground last May. Greenlee has received over $2,000 in assistance from the Curtis Hotel.
