Reading Rockets Visit on Wednesdays: Reading Rocket, an extension of the Denver Public Library, visits at the front of the school on Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Students may use their Denver Public Library Card or Reading Rocket Card to check out books and videos. Parents are also welcome to visit the van at this time. Students needing a library card should pick up an application from Ms.Hausauer in the Library.
Curtis Hotel Helps Greenlee: Representatives from the Curtis Hotel visited Greenlee in December to receive a thank you from the whole student body. Curtis Hotel adopted Greenlee as its volunteer and assistance project. The Curtis Hotel donated money to help provide shoes for the entire student body this holiday season.
Cherry Creek Rotary Club: Throughout the year, the Cherry Creek Rotary Club has been donating books the the Greenlee library to add to it’s circulating collection. In addition to those books, Cherry Creek Rotary has also provided hundreds of books that were used in the Reading is Fundamental (RIF) book giveaway this year.
